Change of mind returns

We want you to shop with confidence. If you change your mind, you may return most items within 30 days of delivery for a refund or exchange, provided that:

  • the item is brand new, unused and in its original packaging — video games must be sealed with the original wrapping intact;
  • all accessories, manuals, cables and inserts are included (Energizer power stations must be complete with all box contents);
  • you can provide proof of purchase. Tax invoice/purchase receipt

The following items cannot be returned for change of mind

  • Video games that have been opened or unsealed.
  • Digital downloads codes

Change of mind returns are at our discretion where these conditions are not fully met. Return postage for change of mind returns is at your cost, and original shipping fees are not refundable.

How to return an item

  1. Email us at support@discountshack.com.au with your order number and the reason for your return. Please do not post anything back before contacting us.
  2. We will reply with a return authorisation and the return address.
  3. Once authorised, please ensure the item reaches us within 14 days. We recommend a tracked service — returned items remain your responsibility until they arrive.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect items

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

If something we sold you is faulty, unsafe or not as described, we will make it right — repair, replacement or refund as the Australian Consumer Law provides. These rights are in addition to our change of mind policy and are not limited to a set number of days; they apply for a period that is reasonable to expect given the nature and price of the product. Energizer products are also covered by the manufacturer's warranty stated in their documentation; the manufacturer's warranty operates alongside, and does not limit, your Consumer Law rights.

If your item arrives damaged, is faulty, or we sent the wrong item:

  • contact us within a reasonable time at support@discountshack.com.au with your order number, a description of the problem and (where possible) photos;
  • we will cover the cost of return postage for faulty, damaged or incorrect items — we'll organise a prepaid label or reimburse reasonable postage;
  • if we sent the wrong item or your order arrived damaged, we will also refund your original delivery fee.

Please note: if a returned item is tested and found to have no fault, we may charge a re-delivery fee to return it to you. Damage caused by misuse, accident or abnormal use is not covered.

Refunds

Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method (Visa, Mastercard or PayPal) within 5–10 business days of us receiving and inspecting the returned item. Your bank or PayPal may take additional time to post the credit to your account.
